I get sick of people talking about Kurt Cobain like he did something special. Hey, whine a bunch of songs to some music anyone could have written, then marry a nasty whore and blow your brains out. Trash will treat you like an icon for decades.
People will look for anything to say on Facebook, so it’s no surprise that the top story recently was, again, a Kurt Cobain bullshit anniversary of his death story. Why do people keep talking about this shit? I hate this guy and have zero respect for him, especially after he killed himself.
Think about all of the people who go through hell every day, working at factories, McDonalds, hair salons and who hate their lives. Those people put up with it. Yet, a guy raking in millions and who could physically never leave his home again and still live like a king decides to eat a shotgun barrel. Oh, he’s so fucking great. What a brilliant guy, he was!
People love posting stupid meme’s of quotes Cobain said, as if some acid dropping moron with a whiney voice is the mental equal to Aristotle. Folks – the only thing you need to speak of regarding Kurt Cobain’s brains are how they decorated the walls after he made the dipshit decision to blow his head off. That’s his lasting legacy. That’s what he did. He could have donated millions a year to charity had he stayed alive and toughed out his bad times/heroin downs. But oh no – too much stress for Kurt!
Shut up about the guy. Quote a President or philosopher or better yet – nobody.
