I’m a kid that grew up in the age of arcades, for gaming. I’ve put many quarters or even tokens into machines to play them and I’m not talking about that Chuck-E-Cheese shit, I’m talking REAL arcades! So putting this list together will be a unique experience.
10 – Was ported to consoles but this version beat that. The guns often were broken by dumb kids, though.
9 – Before we had Soul Calibur, Soul Edge made a huge impact on the scene. So fluid and fun to play.
8 – I’ll admit, I’m not the biggest Street Fighter fan in the world – but at the time, I loved this game.
7 – This is another that ate up many quarters of mine. 4 player made it extra sweet!
6 – While Kintaro was the cheapest boss perhaps ever, this game was a blast.
5 – I don’t even like basketball but this game came out and had everyone playing it! Continued success on consoles, too.
4 – Yep, this cartoon has been around THAT long. The game was good, though, and had a long life at our local arcade.
3 – While many others found more success, this was my personal favorite in the series. It was always LOUD.
2 – Giving us the choice of our favorite X-Men, with powers, while 3 others played was just AWESOME!
1 – I couldn’t believe what I was seeing when this came out. The graphics were great and roster was huge! And it was fun.
