The 10 Worst Genesis Games

Genesis-logo-16bit

As a kid, we got my Sega Genesis from a Pawn shop for like $25. That’s because it sucked about a day after it came out and people had started pawning them. I never liked it or any games for it, so don’t expect 10 favorite, because I couldn’t tell you 1 favorite. But 10 worst? Easy.

  1. I was never a fan of the first Sonic game. It just seemed less than Mario. Like if it was competing with Mario 1, then it would blow it away. Sonic just felt so slow to do anything that Mario would just instantly do. Even when the spin dash was brought in that didn’t help. The homing attack helps with speed though.

    • I almost put it as number 1, just to spite Sonic fans. But I didn’t want to give both of them a hard time.

      • Its all about hits, hating Sonic will get you infamous. To prove this, my Sonic Generations review on Steam, I think got 100 downvotes because I didn’t recommend it. So I took the same review and turned it to recommended, 100 upvotes. People love Zanik. Sonic 1 is still awesome compared to Sonic 3D.

  2. Look, Lethal Enforcers may not be a perfect port, but it was still pretty fun to play, especially if you had the Konami Justifier, which was also compatible with the Mega Drive port of the sequel, Gun Fighters.

Also, Comix Zone isn’t that bad, it’s just a decent game that just came out in the wrong place at the wrong time, a.k.a. the rise of the 32-bit systems.
