No idea how, but a simple, clicking game has won me over. AdVenture Capitalist was just released on iOs and it has cool music, neat and easy graphics, a simple formula and a lot of fun.
You might never expect a game like this to be addictive but it is, thanks to the tons and tons of end-game material you can buy. Many creative items are available. From “Gold Plated Lemons” to “Jordan Ram C” (Gordon Ramsey!) all are there to cost you many millions, billions, trillions, quadrillions, quintillions, sextillions, septillions and so forth. I’m learning all of these number-names too, easily, because of the game. That is another neat side effect.
But as mentioned, the upgrades are what keep the game going. Everything multiplies what you earn in the game, or cheapens the cost for upgrades. The key is to sacrifice your company to increase your total number of angel investors. I’m at 36 million now and I make sure I don’t reset unless it is minimally ten times more than I had. Start at 300, then 1000-2000, and from then, 10X. Maybe more down the road.
Of course, the game would suck fast if you had to click everthing on your own. That’s why, very quickly, you can hire managers to do that for you. It seems almost too good to be true!
You can watch ads 5 times a day, max, to double your profits for 4 hours. I’m happy to watch ads for something like that! The premium content is all fun and silly stuff, too. Permanent multipliers, a gold outfit, advancing a day…in other words, stuff worth your time. Take note, developers. This is how you craft a fun game and make money off of it. You give the players something worth spending their cash on – that remains with them in game.
Check the game out. Thumbs up from me.
You’re fucking high if you think this game is fun.
