The last several weeks have proven to me and anyone perceptive enough to notice that Sony is completely stupid. They let their Playstation Network go down three times as long as XBOX Live, they released the movie The Interview for every platform, including XBOX, EXCEPT Playstation…and now, they’ve just announced a Walkman that will cost more than my computer. Fools.
We start with the newest development. The new Sony Walkman – a hi-fi audio player that sounds so good, it costs more than a car.
For $1200, you can listen to your favorite tunes includin….wait, wait. $1200. Really? Yeah, I double checked. The Walkman is a portable music player that costs more than smartphones, which do 10,000 times as much as a dumbass MP3 player. You could get a Samsung Galaxy S5 or whatever it is. Or an iPhone, if you want to support a company that sucks. But if instead of doing that, you decide to spend twice as much for a tenth the functionality, well, you must be an idiot or just rich.
That’s not Sony’s only blunder, though. And it will be a blunder. On CHRISTMAS, LizardSquad brought down the Playstation Network with a rather unsophisticated attack called DDoS, which I can’t explain at all, beyond it creating a bunch of fake traffic. Sounds like something programmers could make safeguards against, right? Yeah, because it is. But Sony hasn’t caught on YET and let their Playstation Network sit offline for days, following and including Christmas.
How many people got a new Playstation and couldn’t get online, to play with their friends? Sure, XBOX had the same issue, and they suck too, but they got theirs up about a day later. It took Sony DAYS. Sony has dumber people working at it. I’m itching.
The Interview, which some say was a publicity stunt to begin with, was initially pulled from release because of threats of North Korean terror (which really has materialized in the past, hasn’t it?). After President Obama, who I thought was the biggest pussy in the world until Sony had acted this way, even came out and said they shouldn’t have done that. So Sony releases The Interview online and digitally, as well as in a few theaters. The movie is OK and I may even review it at some point – but the fools didn’t put it on Playstation Network. I could forgive that…if it hadn’t been on XBOX Live!!!
Also, if you watched The Interview on your PC online, it could be right clicked and SAVED. LOL. Is this 1995? Who does that?
IDIOTS.

Get your shit together, Sony. You’re ahead, again, in the console battles and you’re letting it slip. Your entire company is screwed up and you’re messing up the one thing you’re doing right. Someone needs firing.
